I noticed your article about the new locksmith in the village when I received the Sawston Scene, little knowing that I would be in need of his services a couple of weeks later when my front door lock failed on Sunday. I rang him and within half an hour was replacing the lock. Excellent service, excellent rate, highly recommended and a lovely chap too!     Replacement of broken UPVC multipoint locking system in Sawston. “We had an unusable back door which was jammed shut after its locking mechanism failed. Ed arrived within 40 minutes, despite it not being an emergency as we still had access to the house via other routes. He freed the door within a short space of time without damage, keeping me informed throughout and though he wasn’t able to source the parts on that day, loaned us a temporary lock meaning that we could use the door and secure it that night. He returned the next day to complete the job, the door is now better than ever with a new mechanism that is smooth and easy. I thoroughly recommend Ed!”  Sawston’s One And Only resident Locksmith!
